Independence Day

Another successful 4th of July in the books! We started the day with our annual neighborhood bike parade. I am so glad our awesome neighborhood plans such events-so simple and yet it really makes for great memories. The twins rode their bikes, Koko took her scooter, and I pushed Clara in the stroller. I could not keep up-those kids were goners!
Tucker and I were already dressed and ready to hit the gym as soon as they were done. It was so fun to do our Strictly Strength class with Tucker having the day off! We got our bums kicked and were completely happy about it.
That afternoon we spent with Tucker's family. Tiffany and the kids were in town and we couldn't wait to see them! Tanner and Drew met up for a bit as well and brought Alfie, Capri's new favorite friend...
We had a great BBQ and let the kids play and play. I tried to reel them in for a picture and this is what I got...

Such cute girls!
We gathered out front to start fireworks and couldn't believe the fireworks we saw being put on by the neighbors-they were huge! All of us were thinking they had to be illegal they were so big, but were happy to be able to enjoy them as well. Tucker got to work getting our own show started.  Roman was by his side the entire time. Love that. Sprinklers were distributed and the show began. Plenty of oohs and aahs as we went through tons of fireworks. Then, Tucker lights this thing that looks like a box, a big box. There they were again-these awesome enormous fireworks! He had just bought them that day and we had no idea. Everyone was loving it except Capri-poor thing still doesn't love the volume.
