Last of Summer through the iPhone

Do you ever feel as though you go too far to take pictures of any and every activity to post to the blog? I understand wanting to document such things for you and your kids, but doesn't it seem that the constant snapping of pictures can take away from your fun? Introducing the iPhone. With the summer coming to an end and a long list of to-dos before school started, I decided to keep the nikon at home and be a bit more worry-free about capturing every moment. It was fabulous and I highly recommend it...at least once in a while. :)
These pictures are in no particular order...
Tucker and his mini-me mowing the lawn-Roman is so creative with the use of his scooter!
24th of July at Grammie's house with Baby Isla. These girls couldn't be cuter in their festive apparel:
My dad is the best Grandpa and offered to take the kids out on the row boat around the lake. Roman and Capri absolutely loved it and talked about seeing the ducks and fish. Grandpa even let them try rowing...Roman felt pretty big that day.
I walked with Karoline in the stroller and took this shot on the bridge above:
I know this isn't a great shot, but I have to post something about our trip to the Dinosaur Museum. This was the first time that Capri was actually really excited to go and learn about the dinos. I was thrilled! Roman loved it, of course, and still wants to read his Dinosaur book all the time. Karoline had a great time getting out and roaming around. It was a great trip except of the hoards of people-don't go on $2 Tuesdays.
This is Karoline being cute. Enough said.
Every weekend in the summer, Soda Row hosts an evening concert. Everyone joins at the park, parents settle down on blankets, kids run around like crazy, and we listen to some great music by local bands. They start around 7 and go pretty late so we got the kiddos dressed in their pajamas and headed over. They loved it because they would make new friends so easily! Here is Tucker, Roman and Karoline hanging out on the fence...We spend some fabulous Saturdays at our gym's pool. Unfortunately, Lifetime doesn't allow pictures being taken so this is all I got-Tucker and Capri anxiously waiting to get in after the pool check.
We took the whole Curtis Cousin Crew to Mulligan's for some mini golfing. I laughed so hard. We start on the very first hole and Roman got so frustrated (and of course didn't want his mom to help) he threw his club...looks like we may have a real golfer on our hands. Both Roman and Capri took awhile to get the hang of things and my mom, Jon and I got a real kick out of it. By the end, however, they didn't want to leave so I guess we will have to go back for some more!
The whole crew...don't you just love how Roman is using his club as a gun-just like his Uncle Jon.
This was when he was happy and excited to get that dang ball in that tiny hole!
Capri had already done this hole while I was taking Roman to the bathroom, but she was so happy about getting the ball in, she did it a second time to show me!
So long summer! Until next year...
