Kailua Beach

Kailua is right next to Lanikai, we're talking a minute away, so it has the same pristine water and beautiful sand, but has an added bonus-bathrooms. These are sometimes necessary with the wee ones. So, we headed there for a day and had a glorious time. The twins were absolutely nonstop playing in the water, digging in the sand, talking to new found friends (Capri told a dozen or so people that she was four, had goggles, and could go under water-not the shy girl she once was!), and simply having the time of their lives...

Karoline loved having another day at the beach. She was lucky enough to have her Grandma there to walk her through the water again!Much to my surprise, Karoline finally decided that getting thrown into the air is fun. She had never been a fan before, but she couldn't get enough of it on the beach:
All of this playtime made grandma and mom a bit tired. However, if we put her down for even a second, she would crawl straight for the water, she really had no fear. Nothing was cuter than watching that little bum and big hat make their way in the sand...

Nothing like a day at the beach...
