Easter

I know, Easter was so yesterday, and everyone in the blog world has already posted about it. But I have an excuse and she is the cutest excuse ever. So here I am, 3 weeks late, hooked up to a breast pump, and typing this up with one hand. I may be late, but I am determined!
Easter was a huge hit this year. The kids loved the egg hunt with their cousins and the candy was a definite plus, but by far their favorite part were their new toys. Capri was thrilled about her pink bubbles (that she thought were going to be pink when she blew them) and Roman, as well as my three nephews, couldn't have been happier when they saw their Nerf guns. Both items were only a dollar, but they might as well have been a million because they made the kids so happy all day. Don't you love such presents?
Being that it was General Conference, we started the day with our family's traditional scone breakfast. There was something really nice about the fact that rather than stressing about being in our Easter Sunday best, we were lounging about in our sweats and letting the kids play. Plus, there isn't anything that can bring your closer to the Easter spirit than listening to our Prophet, right? What doesn't help with the welcoming of the spirit? The guns I just mentioned, but we will take what we can get!
