Peterson Farms Pumpkin Patch

It's that time again! Time to go to our neighborhood Peterson Farms to pick out the perfect pumpkin. Make that perfect 5 pumpkins! I love that this place is so close, personal, has plenty for the kids to do, and always had great pumpkins!
The kids love to climb the haystack pyramids...
Roman at the very top!
Karoline perched halfway up!
Capri caught mid throw!
Now on to finding pumpkins...
And everyone loved the petting zoo...

Loved that my parents and Tucker's parents came along for this fun trip!

On to Fall Randomness...

I know, I know. I am cruising through as I try to catch up the last 10 months. I feel like this blog has gotten away from me, but I really want to keep it up. That being said, I don't have a lot of time so this is what you get!
Ok, so fall of 2013...
It has been seriously the best to have Lexy at BYU. We rarely saw her while she lived in Texas, but now we not only get to see her, we get to watch her perform! Here we are at her first performance where she danced beautifully!
Capri and Roman are reading whizzes! It is crazy to me to see them reading chapter books right at the beginning of 1st Grade...

Speaking of reading, they are so willing to read to the littles and I just about died when I walked in to the girl's room to see this...

London and Karoline take a ballet class together at UDA every Wednesday. We then have to grab them lunch quickly before they have to be to school. That means either the Kneaders drive-thru or eating at Wendy's. Today was Wendy's with these awesome Shrek headbands as an added bonus!

I just had to take a picture of Capri as she got ready for school...it doesn't get much cuter folks!
St. George was calling our name one last time before the real cold came in. We spent an October weekend down there with our family, my parents, the Fords, the Curtis', the Ross', and the Bonds. What a blast to have everyone! The kids were entertained 24/7 which provided lots of time for us to hang out with our friends.
Just look at this group of boys-Elliot, Sam, Roman and Kaleb:
Koko didn't want to get out of the pool. I wouldn't either considering it was the last time in the pool for a long time!
As it gets cooler outside, nothing beats a movie night with popcorn all cozy inside!

Go Utes!

We spent a great weekend down in St. George with the Ross' yet again. We swam and swam all day. Perfection...
Roman and Sam are crazy boys and go nonstop!
Clara's first time in the pool and I think Capri was most excited!
We couldn't get over that belly that was constantly popping out of her top!
Karoline would live outside if she could.
Annelise hooked up her music and these boys started quite the dance jam!
Danny and Capri...if they get married one day, this is going in the video...
A Utah man am I! The Utes played...and beat...BYU this weekend. It was so much fun to get covered in all of our Utah gear and head to dinner at the Pizza Factory. I don't think anyone wondered who we were supporting that night!
Here are the cutest cheerleaders ever!
And the whole kid crew...
After dinner, we headed to Judd's Candy store and played at the park. How cute is this chubby chearleader! I mean Clara, not me...
And the entire Nielson Family...a family that bleeds RED!!!

Summer Randoms...Summer Lovin'

How much do I love summer? So much. I love it so much. Freedom, sun, swimming, no school, lemonade, warm nights, long days. How could you not love it? This summer was no different. It went by way too fast, but I guess that's what happens you're having fun!
It was that much better with this new little munchkin! The kids were loving on this newborn all summer long...
Capri had an end of year celebration for her dance school at Cowabunga Bay. The kids loved spending the evening going from slide to slide, from pool to pool, having the time of their lives. Tucker was Super Dad by going along with them. I got to play with Clara who was content as ever.
Roman's note that he posted on the door. It reads "No Grls (girls) esept (except) mom and no puppy. Capri and Karoline were pretending to be puppies and he wasn't a fan. This note just warmed my heart and made me laugh at the same time.
Austin came to town! One of our favorite cousins came for EFY so we got to go out for dinner. Karoline became attached instantly and wouldn't leave him alone. Good thing he was such a trooper!
Karoline isn't a big fan of girly things such as princesses, dolls, barbies, etc. Dressing up isn't typical either. This ensemble, however, seemed to be worth the effort. She was pretty pleased with herself...
Uncle Jon is a favorite around here. He is even willing to come miniature golfing with a bunch of little kiddos. He actually got really into it, especially when he got a hole in one...
My kids were more like 10 strokes a hole, but that's ok, they all had fun!

The Ross', Curtis', Fords and us all ventured out for a hike up in the hills near Draper Temple. It was a long one and largely in the sun. I couldn't believe we made it to the top! The kids were thrilled to get some snacks for their hard work.

Our dear friends, The Dickmans, moved up to Morgan this year. We were so sad to see them go, but knew we would keep in touch. We had a great time going to see their new amazing home and hang out with all of our families.  There were seven families...over 20 kids...kind of insane but so much fun. Here are my favorite ladies...
Clara started to smile and giggle this summer which makes all of the night feedings worth it!
Roman started tennis lessons here in Daybreak twice a week. He is doing great. Who knows, maybe he will be a tennis star just like his Grampy?! The girls like to come practice too!
No, we aren't trying to advertise for Adidas...
Summer, you were so good to us. Til next year!

Clara, 3-6 months old

Clara at 3-6 mos:
Clara must be a happy baby because she has the cutest smile now! It took awhile to get that smile going, but we knew it was there. We could see her trying and her eyes lighting up. Once she was smiling, she was also giggling. There is not a more precious sound than that of a new baby giggling. It makes everything seem right in the world! As much as Tucker and I make absolutely fools of ourselves to get her to smile or laugh, it's Roman, Capri and Karoline that really get her going.
Gone are the skinny chicken legs and scrawny arms. Now we have some serious chub moving in and we can't stop squeezing, pinching, and kissing that girl. I can hardly stop myself from biting those chunky thighs, they are that yummy!
Just when I thought she couldn't get any cuter, Clara started sucking her thumb. We thought she was going to be our first baby to take a binky, but once she tried that chubby thumb of hers, she didn't want anything to do with it.
At four months, we started sleep training her. She has been our hardest baby to train, but I think part of the problem is us. The mom and dad who see her as our last baby and why not go in and get her? As soon as we were consistent, as hard as it was, she started sleeping great. She would be down at 8:00, up at 5:00am for a bottle, but would fall right back asleep til 7:30 or so. The best was when she would fall asleep after her early morning bottle and I would just lay her on my chest while I soaked it all in. Love her.
Clara still likes the swing and really pays attention to the music and mobile above. The bumbo is getting scary as she can twist and turn to try to get out and gets way too close. She just started using the exersaucer/bouncer and seems to like being vertical.

Stats from her 4 month appt:
Height-25.5 inches placing her in the 75th percentile
Weight-15.8 lbs placing her in the 85th percentile
Head Circumference-16.5 inces placing her in the 50th percentile
A growing baby girl!

In the baby bjorn once again for a hike near Draper:
Getting as many of those 1st precious smiles on camera as we can!
Out of the tub:
 Showing off her rolls!
Karoline thought Clara needed some company during her nap...
Her 4 month onesie picture is full of chub and smiles!
Starting the drooling phase:
Loving that thumb! This was actually kind of sad. She was so tired playing on the floor that she eventually just put herself to sleep as I was doing laundry.
Her jumping play time in the exersaucer!
We started the solids late but it was worth it, she did great her first time!
And her 6 month onesie pic...even more chub and still all smiles!

I just can't get enough of Miss Chub Chub!
