Clara's Blessing

I love baby blessing day. It means my husband, our worthy priesthood holder, gives our newest precious member a name and a blessing. It is incredibly special and personal. Too, I love having our dear family and friends there to take part in this wonderful day.
As I watched all of my brothers, brothers-in-laws, my dad, Tucker and his dad all walk up to the front, I couldn't keep the tears from falling. To have all of these great men up there to bless my baby was an awesome sight. I felt humbled to have so many loved ones support us on this day.
Tucker gave a beautiful blessing and Miss Clara was absolutely perfect. I was beyond happy at that moment. Tucker then lifted her up for all to see and you hear that faint "Awwee" from the audience.
After church, we had a lunch at home and had all of our family and the Ross' (who are basically family!) over. Unlike my other kids, it was very warm day in July when Clara was blessed. It was so nice to have the kids set up outside under canopies eating and playing. We had a delicious spread, took time to visit, and took lots of pictures holding baby Clara. Here are just a few...
